Could perhaps watch this some day --- except for the ultra-violence - then - the soundtrack is cool too. Discovered the soundtrack before I knew this was movie music.

"This track is not available in your country" - When are we going to get rid of this licensing nuisance and be able to enjoy music across the World.
vid and mix by soulwax .. Even though these Belgian records sound very "now", they are actually 20 years old and were meant to be played at a much, much faster speed. At the time this was the devil's music for us, but we have learned to listen through the claps and distorted kicks and discovered that if you slow these really dark and heavy techno records down all the way to about 115 bpm, it suddenly makes them sound less frantic, ballsier and a lot sexier.Belgium at its best when pitched down.
AKA a way to preserve your favorite music on your own systems.
When was the last time you bought a compilation album on CD? I just did. Nineties nostalgia from the days when I was into DJ-ing and UK rave. Thanks to Discogs these fond memories can still be obtained and kept for prosperity. Unlike streaming services, owning a disc and taking care of it will make sure you'll enjoy listening to the music legally and in best quality for years to come.
Discovering the excellent German band "Die Ärzte" only today - I have been living here ten years - after finding a live album on one of the mini discs I got second hand. #music #minidisc #germanpunk #funpunk
Most gadgets don’t have a funeral. The closest they get is a small note on a web site saying that the manufacturer is no longer supporting it, or a final post in an obscure fan forum from a last, desperate fan. minidisc, music, syndicated, tech
Selling actual original artwork as NFTs like music albums and graphic/video art - I can understand why artists do this because of the pandemic as they are having a really hard time getting financial support. BUT selling a tokenised TWEET by someone and then someone actually paying millions for a couple of words, is just absolutely batshit bonkers and horrendously offensive for every human on this climate disaster struck World.
I'm such a sucker for music and song. I got emotional tears in my eyes by Lady Gaga's singing at the #inauguration - Darn, that freedom pigeon got me too.
@dictvm Same here. But this one surely is different. And I'm actually enjoying the parade soundtrack theme music.
This is the first time I am watching an #inauguration as a live stream. The music is really wonderful.
Was a bit sceptical about the new Pixar movie Soul, but then really got into it because of the music and the story. But i do feel this is an animated movie for adults, not for kids.
Feels a bit weird that since music doesn't really age, techno tracks like "Red 2" by Dave Clarke are now classics mostly listened to by parents in search for some nostalgia.
I absolutely love buying second hand #minidiscs and finding they still contain radio recordings and music. It's like discovering someone else's personal music collection. I'd like to imagine how these people were and why they recorded the songs and how they listened to them.
One of the challenges of living far away from where you grew up, like myself, as a Belgian in Germany, is that most people around me don't really know legendary Belgian bands like Nacht und Nebel, Soulsister, Technotronic, Vaya Con Dios, Triggerfinger and more. #culturalbackground #music
