Does anyone actually have BlueTooth headphones that don't have issues with losing connections and such?
BlueTooth is one of those technologies which are brilliant when it works, but OH SO frustrating when there are issues - and there are a lot and happen often.
Upgraded my Minidisc set up to 2021 with a TX/RX Bluetooth dongle set with Spif in and out. Works pretty well for TX. Haven't tried recording from it yet.

Why is the precise volume control of Bluetooth devices over Android 9 impossible to implement correctly?
Got a wired mouse to save on batteries and not to have to deal with funky Bluetooth issues, it even comes with its own handy fingerprint reader, but oh boy can that cable be stiff and thus annoyingly noticeable.
Bluetooth is really one of those technologies that are wonderful when they work, but can be really annoying if it glitches. For instance when I leave my Android phone on the table between the Mac and the Trackpad with Bluetooth then the signal of my keyboard and track-pad is interfered with and the mouse cursor moves erratically.
I will buy a Bluetooth headset once they come with user-replaceable batteries. Until then I refuse to contribute to this environmental disaster.

With the advent of the newer Raspberry Pi 3 (RPi) with built-in Bluetooth, there are now new options for getting connected to the console of the RPi, without the headache of having to dig up a monitor and keyboard (much less a serial cable with pinouts).
One of the most exciting and thrilling experiences, as part of my office-based sedentary life, is upgrading the firmware of my devices over Bluetooth. "Uploading firmware to your headset..." 😨
@jackyalcine I think the "app-store" is conceived as a place to publicize and share apps. You can directly install your own programs over Bluetooth 4.2. Gordon is a wizard tinkerer himself and I am sure he designed the watch to work very similarly to his previous project, #puckjs

Finally got the device and I'm setting it up as a home #server. Going to set up #PuckJS and use it as a Bluetooth-to-internet gateway. Installed firstly Raspbian and got the ssh access working.
