Fixed one problem, another one jumps up; pictures from webmentions are not being displayed. An error 500 is happening somwhere in the image proxy code. Let's dig in!
The error in the error log is "Looks like something went wrong, image was zero bytes big!"
Predicting that alternative ways of generating electricity, for example by using a fixed exercise bike connected to a battery, will get more popular in Europe and Germany this winter.
And the elevator got stuck again. Can’t believe this keeps happening. This time two people had to be freed. It’s like the fifth time in four weeks. The elevator really needs to be fixed for real this time.
Fixed the very small screen (240px) Layout issues in my Known template in case anyone might accidentally open my site on their Nokia 8110 4g browser...
Changed the layout of my personal "Plans" pages a little. The "Updates" now are announced with their own header and I'm sorting the updates as last added on top. See https://
Paid "Call-a-Bike" €10 just so I could get to work 20 minutes faster. Unfortunately the fixed - free - drop-off points in Düsseldorf Derendorf are too far from work. Also I don't understand why the whole of #Düsseldorf Derendorf is out of the supported "Call-A-Bike" zone... #bikerental
After quite the rush today through #Known 's theme customization and CSS styling, I'm finally settling with the current design. In the meantime I also fixed the Known #Bookmark plugin form - on my own instance - to allow for selecting if a bookmark is a "Like" or a "Re-post". Will send a #PR on #GitHub to fix [this Issue](https://
Wanted to register for Coinbase but the verifying ID service and tool is not available to me. First, my Belgian ID has an unfortunate tear in it which i fixed with some sticky tape and it doesn't look bad. But worse is that #Coinbase does not accept an ID for verification if you live in another country than your nationality. This pretty much sucks for any expat or immigrant like myself.
#Fixed the #issue on my #Known site where I had wrongly configured the ``url`` in the ``config.ini`` file.
My web server error is full of these useful and informative messages:
> Backend log: Known (social.johanbove.info): warning - Base URL has defaulted to "/" because Known was unable to detect your server name. This may be because you're loading Known via a script. Try setting url="http://yourdomain.com/" in your config.ini to remove this message\n, referer: https://
