Switching search engines today from DuckDuckGo to Ecosia as ClimateChange has a higher prio than our privacy. Still using the DuckDuckGo extension in the browser - just to limit the wasted energy of cookies and trackers.
Apparently Google went down for a lot of people today and I did not notice any issues at all. Thank you #indieweb, @duckduckgo and my email and webhost @antagonistnl for offering great alternatives!
Having fun in #Oasis looking up semi-random things as it if was #DuckDuckGo and it's really cool how many "hits" it comes back with. It's mind-blowing that all that information is already on my machine thanks to the magic that #SSB is.

I made the switch from Google and Chrome some months ago! Using Firefox as my main browser with DuckDuckGo as default search engine. I only use Chrome - mostly - for web development at work as the dev tools are still somewhat superior to Firefox's.
