Not sure what will need to happen to get all of my friends and family on Signal. I'm afraid the scary truth is that FB won (at least in EU) and that no one - non technical - will actually care enough to switch to another messaging application because of their reaction like "Oh no, not another tool I don't understand and need to install, register for and keep up to date and it's open-source? What about viruses?" ... Challenge accepted. I'm going to try to make it happen.
